Mr. Kennedy has over fifteen years experience conducting and managing commercial inquiries throughout Greater China. Prior to founding China Business Intelligence in Taiwan in 1999, Mr. Kennedy worked as an investigator for the International Federation of Spirits Producers, and managed the IP Division of Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations in Taiwan. A U.S. Navy veteran with journalistic experience, Mr. Kennedy speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and a master’s degree in Finance from Texas A & M University. He is the author or subject of multiple articles on business intelligence and supplier vetting in China, some of which can be found here.

Mr. Ye manages CBI’s operations in the Pearl River Delta and Southern China. Mr. Ye has worked as an investigator for both Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations and Wan Hui Da Intellectual Property. He has over 11 years of experience in IP enforcement and anti-counterfeiting throughout Greater China, and has managed a wide range of commercial inquiries for both domestic and international companies. Mr. Ye is a native of Guangdong Province and his extensive experience operating in that region is a major asset to CBI.

Mr. Neidlinger came to CBI from a Big Four consulting firm. He co-manages CBI’s Southern China operations with Mr. Wei and takes on a crucial client facing role. Daniel has a solid understanding of risks facing MNCs in China, especially the manufacturing centric South China region. He received graduate degrees from both Yale University and the Johns Hopkins SAIS Nanjing campus before launching his career in China. He is fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and conversant in Cantonese.

In addition to our skilled management and excellent administrative staff, the heart and soul of CBI are our experienced investigators. CBI operates a wide network of investigators throughout much of mainland China, including underserved markets in the Southern and Central Provinces. Our investigators come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide range of experiences, allowing them to bring exclusive faculties and talents to bear on any situation.
